GB 21027-2020 "General Safety Requirements for Student Supplies" is a mandatory national safety standard in China for learning supplies intended for use by students aged 14 and below. It was issued on July 23, 2020, and officially came into effect on February 1, 2022, completely replacing the previous GB 21027-2007 standard.

2. Labeling Requirements

The standard stipulates that student supplies shall be marked on the product itself, its minimum packaging, or sales packaging with the statement: "This product is suitable for students aged 14 and below (including 14 years old)" or "Applicable age: 6 to 14 years". The marking shall be clear, legible, and durable.
