Assessment Items

The product's age group must be determined.

Applies to all toys, defined as any product or material designed or clearly intended for use in play by children under 14 years of age.

Testing items include, but are not limited to:

Tension Test.

Torque Test.

Compression Test.

Drop Test.

Sharp Points, Sharp Edges, and Small Parts Test.

Magnetic Flux Index Test.

Sound Pressure Level Test.

Projectile Kinetic Energy Test.

Packaging and Labeling Assessment.


The following five categories of toys are exempt from this standard:

1.Play equipment intended for public use.

2.Automatic playing machines, whether coin-operated or not, intended for public use.

3.Toy vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines.

4.Toy steam engines.

5.Launchers and projectiles.


Sample Requirement: 1 complete sample set.

Testing Duration: 5 working days.
