On 19 January 2021, the European ChemicalsAgency (ECHA) have updated the SVHC list to 211 items. Two (2) substances were addedinto the list.

On June 25, 2020, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) officially announced the addition of 4 substances to the list of substances of very high concern (SVHC). SVHC highly concerned substances have now increased to 209 items. Among the 4 substances added, the first three are reproductive toxicity substances, and the other is endocrine disruptors. The first three substances with reproductive toxicity are used in industrial processes, mainly for the production of polymers, coating products and plastics. Another endocrine disruptor is used for consumer products such as cosmetics.
